Stamplia alternatives: where email template buyers and builder users go now

By Mara Levin · Updated October 7, 2026 · Vendor pages and prices checked that day

Stamplia began as a marketplace where designers sold HTML email templates, and later added a visual builder for the templates bought there. When this page was checked, its web address no longer served a product, and there was no pricing page left to read. So this guide does two things: it says what the evidence shows about Stamplia, and it maps each thing people used it for to a tool you can price today.

The short answer

If you used Stamplia for a visual editor, move to Topol PRO at $10 a month, Stripo (free, or Basic at $20) or Beefree (free, or Professional at $30). If you used it for ready-made designs, pick the builder whose template library you like best, since each of them ships one. If you embedded its builder through an API, the comparable products are the Topol plugin from $70 and Unlayer from $250. The first job, whichever you are, is to check the HTML you still have.

What Stamplia charges today

There is no Stamplia pricing page to read: both stamplia.com/pricing and the home page redirected to unstoppabledomains.com on Oct 7, 2026. This page therefore quotes no Stamplia price, and every number below belongs to a tool that you can still open.

What the evidence shows

  • What it was. TechCrunch's June 2013 launch article called it "an email templates marketplace where web designers can sell HTML templates for newsletters". See that article.
  • The builder. A September 2015 write-up describes Stamplia Builder as a visual editor for most templates bought on the platform, with drag-and-drop blocks, plus an API that outside apps could use.
  • An early warning. In October 2015 a user on the Sendy forum reported a newsletter saying Stamplia was closing its newsletter builder.
  • The address today. A request to stamplia.com on Oct 7, 2026 returned a redirect to unstoppabledomains.com/d/stamplia.com. I could not load that destination to read what it says, so I do not claim more than the redirect.
  • No archive of the pricing page. The Wayback Machine's availability lookup for stamplia.com/pricing returned no snapshot, so there is no dated price to cite.

Taken together, treat Stamplia as unavailable for planning, whatever its earlier history. Anything you built on it needs a home.

Prices from Stripo, Topol, Postcards, Beefree, Unlayer and Mailchimp. The plugin plans count prepaid users, and Beefree and Stripo meter exports, so read the limits on each page before choosing.

What it costs at one, three and ten people

  • Just you. Topol PRO is $10 with unlimited HTML exports. Postcards Plus is $16 with 20 exports a month, Stripo Basic $20 with 50, and Beefree Professional $30. If you only build a few emails a month, Stripo Free allows 4 and Postcards Start 5, at $0.
  • A team of three. Topol Team is $15 for 3 members, Postcards Pro $24 with 3 teammates and unlimited exports, and Stripo Medium $45 with 3 members and 300 exports a month.
  • Ten people. Stripo Pro is $125 for 10 members and 4,000 exports. Topol Team plus seven extra members at its "from $10" rate would be $15 + 7 x $10 = $85 at minimum, a floor to confirm with the vendor.

Who should switch to what

A marketer who bought templates and edited them visually. The closest working replacement is a builder with its own template library. Stripo lists premium templates on Basic, Topol PRO adds premium templates and stock photos, and Postcards vs Stripo compares the AI-drafted route with the module library. Postcards alternatives goes deeper on that product.

A freelancer who needs a free tier. Start on Stripo Free or Beefree Starter, then compare against Topol PRO once exports become a bottleneck. Stripo vs BEE Free and Beefree alternatives cover that decision.

A product team that used the API. Pick an editor that is built to embed. The Topol plugin and Unlayer are the two with published prices, and Unlayer alternatives shows how they compare at 100, 250 and 600 users.

A team that wants to own the files. Move the layouts into MJML or React Email, and let a CMS hold the copy. MJML alternatives and MJML vs React Email cover that route.

The option nobody lists: nothing to migrate on the sending side

Stamplia was a source of designs and a place to edit them, not a sender, so your contacts, automations and sending domain never lived there. Whatever sends your email today keeps doing so. What changes is only where you design, and how finished HTML reaches the sender. Check that your sender is on the new builder's export list, as Postcards lists Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, SendGrid, SendPulse, Brevo, Constant Contact and Zoho Campaigns, or plan on pasting HTML.

What to save, starting today

  1. Every HTML file you downloaded. If a template lives only in an old account, you cannot be sure you can still reach it, so find the file on disk, in your ESP, or in an email attachment.
  2. A search for the old host. Open each live template's HTML and search for "stamplia". Any image or stylesheet still loaded from there is a risk, because the address no longer serves a site.
  3. Image originals. Re-host them with your own sender or CDN and rewrite the URLs in the HTML.
  4. Purchase and licence records. Keep invoices and the terms you accepted, in case you need to show that you may reuse a bought template.
  5. Merge tags. List the personalization tags inside each file, because the new tool or ESP may name them differently.

Getting existing HTML into a new tool

Beefree's FAQ says its HTML importer lets a team "bring existing designs into RGE Studio without rebuilding them from scratch", Postcards' menu shows an Import HTML Email option, and Mailchimp's Standard plan lists custom-coded templates as create and send. Klaviyo's help center says an imported .html file must contain an unsubscribe tag, and warns that tags from other platforms may not be supported. After importing, send tests to Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail inboxes you control, and compare the result with the original before the first live send.

Stay if…

  • Your copies of Stamplia designs are local HTML files that render fine, host their images themselves and have no remaining dependency on the old site.
  • You only need a handful of layouts, in which case a free builder and a weekend are enough.

FAQ

Is Stamplia still running?

I could not find a working product. On October 7, 2026, stamplia.com and its /pricing path both answered with a redirect to unstoppabledomains.com/d/stamplia.com instead of a product page, and the Wayback Machine's availability check returned no snapshot of the pricing page. A forum post from October 2015 already reported a newsletter saying Stamplia was closing its newsletter builder. If you have an account, look for a notice in your inbox before assuming anything.

What did Stamplia cost?

There is no current pricing page to quote, so this page gives no Stamplia price. Older articles describe it as a marketplace where designers sold HTML templates and as a builder for templates bought there, but they are years old and I do not repeat their figures as if they were current.

Where do I buy or download ready-made email templates now?

Builders ship their own libraries. Stripo's Basic plan lists premium templates, Topol PRO lists premium templates and stock photos, and Postcards builds layouts with AI credits. Beefree's page also points to the Really Good Emails gallery of 20,000+ real email examples, which is inspiration to browse rather than files to download.

Can I import HTML I bought from Stamplia into another builder?

Often yes, because the files are plain HTML. Beefree's FAQ says its HTML importer lets a team bring existing designs in without rebuilding them, Postcards' menu lists Import HTML Email, Mailchimp's Standard plan lists custom-coded templates as create and send, and Klaviyo's help center describes importing an .html file that includes an unsubscribe tag. Check each tool's own rules about merge tags and unsubscribe links first.
